Six Word Saturday

My six words are ~

Panic setting in,school starts soon

Oh and how Im beginning to start to panic and worry.
I always prefer the boys at home with me,now the older two are quite
successfully making their way in life it doesn't worry me quite so much but the little one of mine has quite a hard path at the mo and boy do I worry, try rip your heart out, stamp on it and throw it to hungry wolves kinda worry.
So my SWS comes straight from the heart this week

  1. UFF, I'm getting nervous too. My two-year-old will be going to Early Head Start in September, and I'm terrified every time he's away from me. I'm sure you'll stay strong, but I totally get your sense of panic. Thanks for sharing straight from the heart. ~Xiomara, visiting from SWS :)

    1. Thank you for your comment :-) I really wasn't sure wether to post this SWS as it seemed a bit negative but I'm glad I did because it seems like I'm not the only one who has got those horrible feelings.I hope your little boy goes on ok at his early education placement.Sometimes being a parent is hard, isn't it! 1. Eek dont say that Brenda!Actually i do agree with some aspects of that comment. When my eldest went in a car full of teen friends, music blaring, driver only just passed his test, well then I felt ABSOLUTE terror!
Little Chipmunk though comes home on a daily basis with bruised legs where he has been fighting and I dont want to see that all start up again. When hes at home at least I know no one is going to hurt him.Thats when the feelings start to bubble

  5. I just said a prayer for him and you, Jess. Better enjoy this experience 'because it will not last (Beatle song, 'may not last').

Be sure to take a picture of him getting on the bus or however other transportation he uses. We had a picture of EVERY year of our daughter off to school the first day of each year. Even high school when she was driving 'her' car.

But then a flood came along and ruined all our pictures for her through the early grades.

    Our school starts Monday.

    1. Thanks for your kind thoughts Jim,it meant a lot to me.Yesterday I was feeling the effects of a virus so I was a bit headachy, hot and cold and had a sore throat and I guess a bit sensitive so when you said you'd said a prayer for us I brightened up inside :-)
What a horrible thing to happen, losing your precious photos, thats the sort of thing that panics me,but things sometimes unfortunately happen dont they.
We live not 5 mins from our school,so we walk down there,I work at the nursery school at the same campus,so Im quite close in theory! We have one more week of hols to go,so Im going to try and make the most of them.Hope your granddaughter and her parents had a safe journey home last week, love Jess

    1. Evening Ann :-) yes the summer here has never got going to be honest, its kind of gone from Spring to Autumn and bypassed summer.I actually adore Autumn as a season,i just like the freedom that the summer holidays bring.

  10. My son was a very shy and introverted child; I always worried what would happen to him in the big bad world. Now that he's grown, I still can't say that he's exactly a life-of-the-party type of guy, but he made it through childhood intact, and I'm pretty sure my worry wasn't the reason for it. ;-) Good luck to you and your little one both.

  11. It will be okay, most children are more ready for school then we as parents are. Just let them grow, they will find their way.

  12. I feel for you! It is painful to send your baby off...I thought it would be easier second time around but I don't think it ever gets better. But, once that band aid is ripped off it gets better I swear! :) (as I tell myself this.... rocking in the fetal position.... :)
