Paint Explosion

Wanted to post something bit different for country kids this week so here are our outside paint photos.

This activity got took outside when I realised that we needed quite a bit of space,I soon found out that painting outside adds a completely different dimension to the activity and it was fun

All set to paint splatter
Squirting

Add a touch of black
Looking good

Ta Da!
Two minutes later a torrential rain storm came and i had to dash outside and rip the artwork off the drive and it went soggily in the bin.As they always say though the fun is in the doing not the end result!
It made me want to do more outside painting as it was so fun to paint big.Watch this space!

  1. It's a shame the rain ruined the pictures but like you say it's the doing that counts. Great outdoor fun x

  4. Hi Jess...I quite liked the "splatter paintings". It is too bad they got all soggy in the rain. But yes, the process was the fun part!

Thanks for your sweet comment on my SWS post. We went to church yesterday to see two of our granddaughters profess faith in Christ, and get baptized! it was wonderful. They are Will's sisters...and yesterday was Will's 17th birthday. So, it was good to get to be with him on his actual birthday. We did lunch afterwards. (:>) And we will have a party soon for 3 more family birthdays!

Yes, it is fun to have these gatherings of the entire family, and I look forward to them so much.

Where abouts in the United Kingdom do you live? My husband was born in England during the war. His mom was English and his dad was an American GI. When John retired we spent a month in England. it was wonderful!

Hope you will have a good week ahead!
