Six Word Saturday

Ouch!Some Things In Life Sting!

Life!Not always grand is it?

I sometimes feel that to have no feelings and to be tougher would be a good thing.

In fact I'm certain it would be a good thing.

Anyone know of toughening up classes anywhere.....?

Not the most happy chappy six words in the the world but they describe how I feel to a tee.

To read more positive and probably more cheery six words pop over to Cate at

  4. Tough in stamina or tough skin? I'd recommend our fitness center for the former. The second? Just turn your back (unless in Chicago, then you'd get shot) is my advice.

  6. there is no such thing as a toughening up class..it is just life. Sometimes you need to be able to take a deep breath and say "I cannot control this....let it go."

    1. Thanks Linda,I really appreciate your words.I love looking at the small wonders of life and incy teeny tiny things make me smile every day without fail but deeper down I know I'm a terrible softie and unfortunately in this life softies tend to get hurt and it stings like hell when it happens.Ive always loved the idea of toughening up classes, perhaps somewhere in this mad, crazy life they do exist!

  10. At first I thought you meant literal stinging. (Insects love me.) Hope you get some soothing soon.

    1. Oh Rosemary I can see why you could think I meant literal stinging insects!Perhaps insect stings would be easier to deal with than the stings that humans make! Infact I'm in no doubt that they would be easier to soothe!
