Six Word Saturday

''Look....My Boys First Car Keys''

He's yet to pass his test but things are moving in that direction and his very own car is stood on the drive waiting for him!

What a rite of passage....owning your own car!

I'm so proud of him!

  2. Best wishes, Jess!!! I am happy for all of you, especially your son.

I remember when our daughter had her first car (a six-year-old 83 Ford TBird, BTW, what is your son's?). Later in the afternoon we looked in the driveway and her car was gone. It turned out she had gone up the street to show her friend.

That was he beginning of car rules for her. She wasn't just hopping on her bicycle now. Rule # 001: "Always tell Mom and/or Dad, who all ever is home, where it is you want to go and get permission."

!!! HAPPY EASTER TO YOU AND FAMILY !!!

    1. Hi Jim isnt it a worry when your children start to drive!
Im hoping my son manages to pass his driving test soon and then it will stop the expense of driving lessons for him and the independence it will bring him will be great!
His car is a Citroen C2,a blue one.I keep patting it every time I pass it on the driveway....my boys first car..wow!
Happy Easter *big waves from Britain*

  3. Our oldest bought her own first car before she had a license to drive. It was her motivation to save her money. Yep, have to have rules for everything, huh? I'm thankful she didn't mind having limits, and she obeyed them all.

Happy Easter to you and your family!

  6. On my first night as a licensed driver, I sat legally at a stop light, minding my own business, waiting for the light to change, when another (less legal) driver, being chased at high speed by a police cruiser crashed into me totalling both vehicles.

  7. Yikes. Good luck with that. A blessing, but scary.
