Wot So Funee

Trying to link up with Actually Mummy  to do Wot So Funee I tried last week but couldn't link up,so Im hoping for better luck this time.

Earlier this week while I was walking to school with my youngest son I saw a house that I liked for sale.

"I would like to buy that house" I said to him as we walked by and we carried on,on our way home.

A couple of days later as we were going to school my son yelled out

"Sorry Mummy, you can't have that house!"

"Why?" I asked. "Because its too late" he replied.

As I walked by I looked at the sign which said To Let I had to smile to myself.

"See he said "I told you! It's To Late!"

It made me smile and still does when I pass the house each day.

Midweek Thoughts

Today was busy; Chipmunk did ballet, games & physio and that is enough to whack anyone out!

Ballet at Chipmunks school is making me smile!
Chipmunk is saying that he hates it but he talks about it a lot and he came out of school and skipped up the road with me
"This is what you do at ballet" he said.
So he must be taking it in,like it or not!

Sharky went to school in his new school jumper.
First time he's worn one in years and it looked lovely or rather he looked lovely in it.
I knew better than to ask for a photo though!

It's so windy here, feels almost stormy!

Chipmunks long awaited school shirts have arrived! At last!Woohoo!

Tiger and Sharky's school is being OFSTED.
I hope they do well.Kind of community pride and all that jazz!

We have done Chipmunks maths homework on the day it was given us ~ there's a first!

Sharky has had a graze on his leg from playing rugby.
He is proud,I'am gutted!

And tomorrow is swimming! We like swim lessons :-)

This Week Baby I Promise

Its that time of week to link up with Mum Of One and make those weekly promises. This week I'm going to go for this one;

This week youngest son I'm going to try even harder (if that's physically possible) to help you with your spellings.
I'm going to use all the good tips I have read on the Internet about how to teach spellings and I'm just going to focus that incy bit more just so you can hopefully get more right than you did today!
And boy we worked hard last week too,so goodness knows how it can be improved! We will see :-)

From a highly stressed mum who just doesn't like to see her son fail on the spelling test :-(

Wot So Funnee

I found this meme over the weekend and I liked it because it's a really cheery thing to write about and also helps you to remember some of the funny things children say and there are always plenty of those I find! It's over at Actually Mummy

This week my youngest son made me smile when he was talking about the schools new PE lesson,it is ballet!

As you might imagine this has caused some mumblings and grumblings amongst the boys!

The night before the ballet class my son came into the kitchen and said,

"Muuum, tomorrow we have got to have tattoo's for school"

I stopped preparing tea and looked at him, "Tattoo's?" I said

"Yes!" he squawked "Tattoo's"

Then I suddenly clicked on!
"Er do you mean Tutu's" I said, with just a incy, wincy grin on my face.

"Yes,that's it!!" said the small boy!

Well I didn't know wether to be relieved or not!You tell me,what's worse for a boy ~ a tattoo or a tutu!

Your guess is as good as mine! It did make me smile though!

Football Boots

We have been having trouble here regarding football boots.

This year for his PE lessons Sharky has chosen American Football and Rugby, both which require footy boots and the problem is...he does not have footy boots!

This makes Sunday and Thursday nights very taxing as he goes through the house and garage looking for non existent footy boots, even worse was when he chose 8am on a Monday morning to search for these boots ~ now that was bad

There should be some of his big brothers boots about but can we find them?No we can't!Wherever they have gone is a mystery that has not been solved yet.

So it's become apparent that Sharky needed his own pair of boots and woohoo we've got them!

Imagine the calmness in our house when Sharky goes to pack his PE kit
Shirt ~ yes
Shorts ~ yes
Socks ~ yes
Joggers ~ yes
Boots ~ yes,yes,yes!

It's making me smile just thinking about it!No more frenzied searching,no falling out,no rooms turned upside down and no feelings of letting your boy down. This is good!New football boots rule!
