It's The Weekend!

I'm really looking forward to this weekend.

Chipmunk has finished the project

I have finished the work assessments.

Yes we still have 2 pieces of literacy,1 piece of maths & 10 spellings to learn but it's nothing like the pressure that we both was under last weekend.

So with that in mind the weekend looks bright!

This is not the sort of book I ever envisaged reading at bedtime but Chipmunk loves them!

I have read series 1,2 and this is from series 3,to him.

Its not a book I would particularly endorse but I believe if it keeps Chipmunk happy then so be it.

He reads enough what I call quality books anyway.

If you reading this  Moors Mummy would your Beanie read this kind of book?

Anybody else out there that lets their children read Ben 10 Alien books?

Christmas Lists

Ahh this Wot So Funee happened over the weekend when Chipmunk started to make his Christmas lists.

I gave hum a Argos catalogue and he was sooo enthralled,he sat there flicking through the toys and writing all the things he wanted on a notepad.

I was smiling and thinking how cute he looked when he started talking about how he would share all the presents out.

I had a look at his list and saw where his mind was going...

The poor little thing thought that the number in the Argos catalogue was infact the number of items you received

So you got

 

99 - Cars 2 games

48 -  Fifa 11's

13 - Sega All Stars

And goodness knows how many trampolines and footy tables!

I felt horrible shattering his illusion but it had to be done.

Can you imagine Christmas morning and him expecting all that number of things!

He was going to share tho...

Teen Tuesday

Today on Teen Tuesday I want to talk about wires!

Yes just simple old wires.

Except its not that simple because when you have got a teen or even two teens wires are everywhere!

Wires from straighteners,hairdryers,laptops,earphones,ipod charges,phone charges,x boxes.

They take over the house.

They get tangled.

They trip people up.

They are sooo messy.

They are a real pain!

Yep with teenagers these days comes the problem of wires!

Baby I Promise

Absolutely snowed under with work at the moment so its a flying visit from me over to the lovely Mum Of One to make my promise of the week.

Waves to all the regular promisers!

Last week I tried to help my middle son with his choices ready for when he leaves school and then I find out his school has just been put in special measures & one of the reasons being a failing 6th form...argh...that did not please me!Big meeting at the school tomorrow so I will see what comes of that!Grr!

This weeks promise goes to all my boys and it is...

This week boys I'm going to be enthusiastic about Christmas! Yep,singing jingle bells,discussing pressies,I'm going to be as chilled as a penguin when discussing the Christmas word with you!

 This is the first time Ive been tagged so I have thought hard about my answers!

1) Describe yourself in 7 words?

Talkative,Stubborn,Patient,Friendly,Totally Child Led, 

2) What keeps you awake at night?

Well having my teen clump in at all hours keeps me awake!He comes to bed a lot later than me and I hear every noise!Grr! 

I usually fall to sleep really easily but if I ever wake up in the early hours then that's it :-/ all the troubles in the world fill my head.Its horrible!

3) If you could be anyone for a day, who would you be and why?

I have given this a lot of thought,conferring with my middle son,I went through a few people before finally coming up with Mrs Weasley from Harry Potter.

Now I would really like to be Mrs Weasley,she has a large family,not much money but a lot of love and I would love sending howlers to my children! 

4) What are you wearing right now!! 

Erm brown faded cargo trousers,top from next and I'm soon to put a hoody on because I'm chilly,I always steal borrow my sons hoodys! 

5) What scares you? 

My son falling :-/ since he is so uncoordinated and falls hard I really dread him falling.

He fell down the stairs a couple of years ago and broke his collar bone and it stills makes me cringe when he comes down stairs. 

6) What is the best and worst about blogging?

The best ~ having somewhere to keep all my precious memories.

Getting to know such a variety of people from all over the world and getting so many fab ideas!

The worst ~ that feeling of 'in crowds.'

7) What was the last website you looked at?

Brit Mums to see what the writing prompts were this week. 

8) If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?

I would like to be ultra organised 

9) Slankets- Yes or No (this divides the blogging world ;-) 

I didn't even know what a slanket was!!But having found out...I need one now!
